[ Personal ] - Just came back from my first “burn” (burning-man style 10 principles event) in Sweden. It was a blast, required a ton of prep, but for those that like conscious communities and alternative ways of living I can recommend it.
[ Read ] On Hamsters, Free Speech, and the United Kingdom - A fun and interesting read about how the UK’s internet censorship bureau is having no success levying fines on 4chan, which is a US company. It’s a funny read but more importantly is a fascinating example of how many governments have seem to forgotten that laws are only as good as those that enforce them. (link)
[ Watch 8:12 ] Every Millennial music cliché explained - I’m not a sophisticated music analist, but videos like this make me want to study music theory. It’s a cool breakdown of patterns that were very popular in my generation cohort, also the guy’s tone is super weird and I dig it. (link)
[ Buy ] Shoulder strap for my water bottle - I love my little Dopper water bottle, at the aforementioned festival, using the shoulder strap they made was more convenient than I expected, 10/10 recommend. (link)
