This is the Monthly(ish) Mentor of November/December 2025.
[ Personal ] - A bit overwhelmed, as expected - November and December are a whirlwind of social activity. I’m looking forward to focussing on work (and snow) in jan/feb. My EOY reflections resulted in the intention to spend more time on deepening my relationships, making time for embodied play, and reducing the social caretaking load I put on myself. Finally, a big thank you to everyone who participated in the donation matching, I matched €750 all thanks to your generosity. Well done.

Highly recommend this channel in general, but this video in particular. With all the Trump tariff hoo haa it’s extra ironic to see that the core business of the EU (the single market) is so neglected that it in effect tariffs ourselves 44-110%.

Since I intend to do more audio podcasting this year I wanted to get some gear that would make it more likely that I end up actually doing it. In my case that means it needs to be: portable, versatile, and require little after editing. These units have 2 transmitters (microphones) and one receiver (can be plugged into phone, prof camera, laptop). The setup is exactly 0 seconds, they just work and are auto-paired to eachother.
